The win marks an 1-0-1 series with the Raiders for the Buckeyes after a 4-4 tie in Tuesday’s Game 1.

Senior forward Jaxon Nelson had two goals and an assist, and No. 2 Minnesota men’s hockey completed the sweep of No. 3 Michigan with an 6-3 win on the road on Friday.

BOSTON -- Brad Marchand had two goals and three assists, and the Boston Bruins scored four straight goals to win 5-2 against the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round at TD Garden on Sunday.

BOSTON -- Jeremy Swayman will make his first start in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Boston Bruins against the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference First Round at TD Garden on Friday.

BOSTON — Boston University announced Wednesday that Albie O’Connell will not return as men’s hockey coach.

O’Connell spent the last four seasons as head coach of the Terriers after serving the previous four as both an assistant coach for one season and an associate head coach for three seasons under David Quinn.

BOSTON -- David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall combined to score six points for the Boston Bruins in a 5-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche at TD Garden on Monday.

Pastrnak had two goals and an assist, and Hall had three assists.

Women’s Hockey: Terriers fall to Providence 2-1 in OT on Senior Day | WTBU Radio

BOSTON — The Boston University Terriers closed their regular season with a 2-1 overtime loss to the Providence College Friars on Senior Day at Walter Brown Arena on Saturday.

Swayman, Bruins shut out Senators

Jeremy Swayman made 30 saves for the Boston Bruins in a 2-0 win against the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on Saturday.

It was Swayman's first NHL win since Jan. 2 after being recalled from Providence of the American Hockey League on Jan. 29, and his second NHL shutout of the season.

Swayman allowed three goals in a 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday and two goals on 14 shots in relief in a 6-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Jan. 30 in his two previous games.

Kucherov skates with Lightning for first time since surgery

Nikita Kucherov skated with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday for the first time since having surgery for a lower-body injury on Oct. 26.

The forward has not played since he was injured Oct. 16 in a 2-1 overtime win against the Washington Capitals. He scored four points (one goal, three assists) in three games this season and was expected to be out 8-10 weeks after the surgery.
